Penrith fullback Dylan Edwards has scored in two of his last three games

Dylan Edwards, a fullback for the Penrith Panthers, is enjoying a breakout year. He has scored two tries against the Parramatta Eels in the past three rounds.

Edwards has also won the Clive Churchill Medal as the Grand Final Player of the Match. He kicked a pair of field goals in Penrith’s 18-12 win over Brisbane.

As a junior, he carried the ball for 2,603 yards, scoring 22 tries and kicking 72 goals for 224 points. Despite a lack of representative experience, he is considered a premiership winner and an up-and-coming superstar.

Edwards has had a stellar season so far, with seven of his eight tries coming in the last 13 games. His highlight reel is also a testament to his ability to convert and put his foot in the ground.

In the 2021 NRL Grand Final, he played a key role in the Panthers’ 21-10 victory over the South Sydney Rabbitohs. He was also a key player in the 2022 NRL Grand Final triumph.
